Timeline

  2. Failed request
  3. Console error
  4. Screenshot

Four steps from reproduction to a developer-ready report.

  1. Start diagnostics

Start technical capture and an optional tab recording with one explicit user action.

  2. Reproduce the issue

ReproSnap records meaningful actions, network requests and responses, console errors, and environment details.

  3. Review the report

An automatic title, description, screenshot, recording and redacted data are ready for review.

  4. Share the file

Export standalone HTML or ZIP. The user decides who receives the report and how it is shared.

Technical bug reports without asking the reporter to open DevTools.

User actions

Meaningful actions are recorded in a readable order without inflating the report with technical-only clicks.

Requests and responses

The report can include request headers/body, response headers/body, status and response time.

Console errors

JavaScript and console errors sit next to failing requests and screenshots in the same report.

Automatic screenshots

Automatic and manual screenshots help preserve the visible state around the failure.

Optional tab recording

WebM capture is started deliberately by the user and records video only, without audio.

Timeline synced with recording

Select an event in the report to play the recording starting two seconds before it occurred.

Automatic title and description

The report starts with useful generated text that can still be edited manually.

AI-ready prompt

ReproSnap prepares an AI prompt from the same redacted report model used for HTML and ZIP export.

HTML and ZIP export

Lightweight HTML is best for quick review, while ZIP can include the full offline package with recording.webm.

Local report history

Reports are stored locally in the extension and can be reopened after browser restart.

Text secret redaction

Some textual secrets are hidden defensively, but screenshots and recordings still require manual review.

PL and EN

The UI and generated content support Polish and English without forcing cloud sync or sign-in.

Your data stays local

  • No required account.

  • The report stays on the device until the user explicitly exports it.
